initiatives

How small can it be?

Start by looking at consumption and the waste it creates. What is the need, how do I satisfy it, and am I conscious of the activity left over? Only then can a small initiative be realised.

Some of the most popular campaigns are renewable energy and the waste hierarchy (reduce, reuse and recycle). As we note in our initiative project, these campaigns are not entirely new, they just have a nice and round terminology in the current modern era. Small efforts can be seen as part of this campaign, such as switching to efficient electrical appliances, even though the source of energy is still far from being mostly renewable. Or simply reducing consumption, prolonging use or simply using less packaging. Another way might be to start sorting waste, even though it might end up in landfill anyway. These are simple initiatives.

How will it be different? By taking all the small initiatives and turning them into the next project. In simple terms, what is required to turn all these small initiatives into an ongoing project? Should it become a snippet of content, it should join with the others to become a stream of educational entertainment. Does it need new machinery or an automatic system to scale up the effort? Does it now need more space, more coordination or the support of a larger shareholder? Once the initiative is rolling, what is the stumbling block that needs to be removed to make it a project?

That's what we should do. Take any ideas and turn it into a projects. A sustainable one.
